Recreation

The Town of Marystown prides itself in offering the best quality recreation services to its residents and is the regional hub of Recreation and Sport for the Burin Peninsula. Marystown has a full-time Director of Recreation & Community Services, an Arena Coordinator and field staff in place to ensure all facilities are maintained and recreational opportunities are available. The Department strives to provide quality recreational services to all age groups in our community. The Town's Recreation Department is supported and maintains leadership from the Marystown Recreation Committee and the Town Council. With endless outlets to express support or participate in active groups and clubs, sport enthusiasts can enjoy many types of recreation including softball, soccer, swimming, track and field, and hockey. Marystown is a very active community that promotes recreation and healthy living through community groups and activities.
